A variety of interesting car stuff, on tywkiwdbi.blogspot.com

Imagine, how crude a car has to be to think that 2 hundred miles is an incredible achievement

Air pump, relevant tools permanently attached, and a rack to hang the bike while working on it. Installed on campus at the University of Virginia.

A 1920's photo of a sign pointing the way to the Lincoln Highway
Reason that big wheel is called a Penny Farthing
And the pain in the butt that a rental car can be.
these and more mixed in with an ecclectic and informative collection http://tywkiwdbi.blogspot.com/

extremely great photos from 21 studs tumblr part 1

pre 1940's gas station, just an awesome photo, and a rare early color one
Only advertising big wheel I've ever seen, great idea!
Unusual Superbird with a 1970's funly paint job

3 ads in one dealership... Rambler, Jackson, and India, I like that slogan "No sand too deep, no hill too steep"

What are they doing with this elephant? Trying to break the car?
Rockwell was such a talented artist and pretty good at humor too

Clint Eastwood

Katherine Hepburn?

Petty on the left, Yarborough on the righ if I recall correctly, in the Woods Brothers Mercury
Jimi Hendrix

Why did Ford have more ugly Falcon models than good looking Mustangs?http://21studs.tumblr.com/ is where all of these came from

Homeless RV and chaise lounge chair

This is the Shamrockaway, before and after 40 years of use and neglect http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2011/01/31/hemmings-find-of-the-day-the-shamrockaway/ for a writeup on it

a 1924 Scott Super Squirrel above, below is the 1926 that Von Dutch restored and lettered for Steve McQueen http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/09/bike-with-possibly-coolest-history-of.html

There was a lot of work to make a wheeled vehicle from this pre 1960's cabin cruiser

How about this... I'd love to see this in motion because I woder if those back wheels power slide like they did on Big Wheels... it was made by the Parker Brothers
